Operational alerts you control
Spark Inventory offers two optional SMS programs to authenticated US account holders: one-way operational notifications, and Texting with Spark, a two-way assistant for account owners and admins. SMS is not required to use Spark, and we do not send promotional or marketing messages through either program.
Spark Inventory Notifications

- Varies based on account activity and the notification types you enable; typically no more than a few messages per day
- Cost
- Spark does not charge for SMS. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier
Consent and control
- Opt in: Enable the notification types you want, or turn on Texting with Spark, from Profile → SMS inside your Spark account. Each program has its own consent checkbox.
- Stop: Reply STOP at any time or turn SMS off in your account settings.
- Help: Reply HELP or email support@sparkinventory.com.
Texting with Spark
- Program name
- Texting with Spark (Spark by Text)
- Who can join
- Owners and admins of a Spark Inventory account, using their own verified US mobile number
- Message type
- Two-way. You text questions and requests about your own account to your business's dedicated Spark number, and Spark replies. Spark also sends operational alerts, a morning summary, and a weekly summary
- AI replies
- Replies are generated by AI from your account data and may be inaccurate. Spark changes your data only after you confirm that change by replying YES with its code
- Message frequency
- Up to 10 alerts and summaries per day by default (you can change this limit in Spark), plus replies to the texts you send
- Cost
- Spark does not charge for SMS. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier

- “Spark alert: A7 Blue Mug 12oz is below its reorder point (4 left). Reply 1 A7 to approve the draft PO for 48 from Kiln Co, 2 A7 to dismiss.”
- “Spark: You have 36 Blue Mug 12oz at Main and 12 in transit. Reply YES B3 to order 48 more from Kiln Co for $412 or NO B3 to skip.”
- “Spark Inventory: You're enrolled in Texting with Spark. Up to 10 alerts/day plus replies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

Privacy
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. Phone numbers are shared only with the service provider used to deliver messages and receive delivery status. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
